Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Z-CMS Marketplace as a developer. By signing in and using the service you agree to them.
1Acceptance
By creating a developer account or publishing a package you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the marketplace on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
2Your account
You sign in through Google or GitHub; there is no password for us to protect, but you are responsible for the security of the provider account you sign in with and for everything done through your marketplace account. One person or organisation, one identity — do not impersonate others.
3Publishing packages
You may publish only packages you have the right to distribute. You must sign every package with your own registered key, provide accurate metadata, and not upload malware, backdoors, or code designed to harm the sites that install it. You keep ownership of what you publish and grant Z-SOFT and the installing Z-CMS instances the licence needed to store, distribute and run it as part of the marketplace.
4Review, quarantine and revocation
Every submission is scanned and read before it is published. We may quarantine, reject or request changes to any submission, and we may revoke an already-published version — including through the marketplace-wide kill switch — where it is unsafe, infringing or in breach of these terms. Review is a safeguard, not a warranty: it does not make us the author of your package.
5Acceptable use
Do not use the marketplace to distribute malicious or infringing code, to probe or attack the service, to evade review, or to abuse other developers or users. We may suspend or block accounts that break these rules.
6Intellectual property
You retain all intellectual property rights in the packages you publish. The Z-CMS name, logo and the marketplace software itself remain the property of Z-SOFT and are not licensed to you by these terms.
7Disclaimer and liability
The marketplace is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Z-SOFT is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from any package published on it.
8Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continuing to use the marketplace after a change means you accept the revised terms. Questions go to support@z-cms.org.
